Bound in original blue publisher's cloth. Cover and spine lettered in gilt and decorated in black. Contains Library of The Alpine Club of America plate on FBEP. Presented by "Henry G. Bryant, 1933". Bryant was a former president and member of the club.

Good. Spine sunned. Adhesive marks from removed library sticker on lower spine and covers near creases. Rubbing at edges and corners. Single bump at centre of foredge. Hinge slightly cracked at front endpaper gutter. Contents in very good condition. Fresh and bright. Some foxing on plate tissue guards.

An accounting of an expedition Seton Karr made to the Yakutat Bay, Copper River, and Prince William Sound regions of Alaska through 1886. Also contained is his partaking in an attempt to ascent Mount St. Elias.

Provenance: From the library of Warwick H. Williams. Previously owned by Henry G. Bryant, former president and member of The American Alpine Club.
