A scare first edition, first printing of Blatty's most famous work and, perhaps, one of the most famous works in the horror genre. First edition stated to front colophon and full number line present (71 - 1) on final page. Retains original unclipped dust jacket.

First edition, first printing.Ā New York: Harper & Row, Publishers, (1971). 8vo. Original publisher's cloth in original unclipped dust jacket. pp.340, [ii]. Very good in good dust jacket. Dust jacket unclipped ($6.95). Dust jacket shows some rubbing and chipping along edges and at crease ends. Two very small tape repairs to head and foot of spine. Binding sound overall, a trifle cocked where front hinge has loosened a little. Cover boards have some mild rubbing at corners. Contents very good/near fine. Very mild toning throughout and some faint spots to foredge. A well preserved copy of a rare horror classic.
