Bound in original red publisher's cloth. Spine lettered and ruled in gilt. Decorative endpapers. Plate of the Library of The American Alpine Club, Teton Branch pasted to FBEP. Signature of Henry B. de-Villiers Scwab on first page. Good. Binding sturdy, has been previously refreshed with new endpapers. Spine mildly sunned. Stamp pasted to spine reading "1st ed. 1843". Adhesive markings on covers. Piece of binding tape on rear cover. Contents in generally very good condition. Some mild spotting here and there throughout. A few pages heavily spotted at start of first chapter. Some markings on plates, though generally not on the illustrations.Ā
